  1. What and when was the biomat last improved upon?

    The Amethyst Biomat 7000mx is the latest improvement and came out November 2012. It comes with a powerful new layer that provides strong Negative Ions and Magnetic reaction - the TOCA layer (Tourmaline Catch power), also updated is the pad replaces fabric with an improved "Clay" fabric which transfers very gentle infrared rays, and comes with a new more durable and powerful controller which is made for heavy duty use with a new sleek modern design. The Amethyst Biomat was previously improved in January 2010. The Amethyst is now ground 7 times compared to 5 times for previous version of the biomat so the Amethyst is finer and has more shine to it. The panel within the biomat that generates the Negative Ions is 50% larger. The biomat itself is now 8mm thicker than before. The plug has been modified so it is harder and thicker so it is tougher to break. The travel case for the Professional size biomat is now longer and not as wide so it can fit through doorways easier, and the pull handle now has a locking button so the biomat can be pushed as well as pulled.

  2. Can the Biomat cure or reverse cancer cells?

    What has been shown is that cancer cells do not survive 40 degrees celcius (113'f) of far infrared light (Harvard Medical School). The Biomat uses a unique combination of far infrared light with negative ions and amethyst crystals to create a more effective usage of far infrared light, which is amazing on its own. Negative ions open the cells to eject the toxins and cancers that might have been destroyed in the presence of the far infrared light.

  3. What is the difference between the Mini and the Larger size biomats?

    All the biomats have the same 17 internal layers. The differences are the dimensions, the style of the controller, price and the Mini also contains Tourmaline. In the Mini the rows of Amethyst and Tourmaline alternate throughout the length of the mat. Tourmaline is naturally a "cooling" stone and naturally emits Negative Ions as well has other health benefits.

  4. How long has the Biomat been in use?

    The Biomat has been in use since 1997, NASA had the technology patented since the 1960's and it became public domain in 1997. A similar device that was not easy to use was $500,000 and sold only to cancer institutes. Now we can have this FDA medical device in our homes for the cost of a few months of health insurance. There is a lot of research from Japan and Korea, and is used on the hospital beds. It is still relatively fresh here in the United States, but doctors, hospitals, and alternative care practitioners are all using it with amazing results.

    The standard voltage is 110v for the Biomats, but you can get 220v version as a special order which takes 15-40 days to get to you, and there is NO extra cost for the 220v version. All shipping Internationally is via UPS.

  7. Can I get a discount if I purchase more than one mat?

    All Biomats are sold at the same price for everyone. If you want multiple Bio-Mats, you will want to contact us to assist you with your order.

  8. What is the cost of the beds when you become a distributor verses a retail price without being a distributor?

    The prices are the same for everyone. There is no discount for distributors. The company doesn't sell directly to the public, all sales go thru distributors. If you become a distributor through us by ordering a Bio-Mat and a Distributor Kit from this website, we will setup a free website for you so you can make online sales.

  9. Can I order just the Professional without the Pillow?

    Yes, just go to the Bio-Mat Store page and select it.

  10. How do I place an order?

    Find the product in the store, click on the product. Then click on the 'Order Now' buttons to add item(s) to your cart. You can add/delete items in your cart by clicking on the appropriate button. Once we have received notification of your order we will process your order with the manufacturer. You will receive an email receipt of your order.

    Yes, we ship internationally via UPS, but additional shipping fees may apply. Purchaser is responsible for any import taxes or fees that may apply in their country.
